Bookings Cancellations & Refunds

At Global Therapy Training (GTT), we are committed to delivering quality online training to meet your professional development needs. To ensure clarity and fairness in your course booking, cancellation, and refund process, we have outlined the following terms and conditions. By booking a course with us, you agree to the following terms:

1. Booking Process

• Course Confirmation: Your place on a course is only confirmed once payment has been received in full. Until payment is made, your place is provisional.

• Non-Refundable Deposit: A non-refundable deposit is required to secure your place on a course, to be paid at time of booking. This deposit is deducted from the total course fee. This deposit ensures that your booking is confirmed.

• Employer Payment: If your employer is paying on your behalf, we will invoice them for the full course fee. Payment must be received before the course start date, and by requesting an invoice, employers accept our booking, cancellation, and refund policies.

• Course Materials and Access: Access to online courses, materials, and resources will only be granted once full payment is confirmed.

• Eligibility and Pre-Requisites: Please ensure that you meet any stated pre-requisites for the course (see entry requirements and additional course requirements). If you do not meet the required criteria, we may refuse enrolment or offer an alternative course.

2. Cancellation and Refunds

• Non-refundable Deposit: The deposit paid to secure your place is non-refundable, regardless of the reason for cancellation or non-attendance.

• Non-refundable Fees: In addition to the deposit, course fees are non-refundable once the 14-day cooling off period has passed. By booking a course, you agree to these terms.

• 14-Day Cooling-Off Period (Distance Selling Regulations): If you are a consumer and booked the course via our website or by telephone, you have the right to cancel within 14 working days of booking, provided the course is not due to start within this period. You will receive a full refund, including any delivery charges, if applicable.

If the course is due to start within 14 working days of booking, the 14-day cooling-off period does not apply.

• Cancellation after 14 Days: Once the 14-day cooling-off period has passed, no refunds will be issued if you cancel or fail to attend the course, regardless of the reason. However, your non refundable deposit will not be refunded under any circumstances.

• Transfer of Booking: You may transfer your booking to another course date only once within the 12 months following the original course start date. To transfer, GTT must be notified in writing. Transfers will only be granted subject to availability and the discretion of GTT.

• Non-attendance: If you do not attend the course, for any reason, no refund or transfer will be provided for CPD or short courses.

3. GTT-Cancelled or Postponed Courses

• Course Cancellation by GTT: GTT reserves the right to cancel or postpone a course up to and including the day of the course, particularly in the event of insufficient bookings. We will give you as much notice as possible in such cases.

• Refund or Transfer for Cancellations by GTT: If GTT cancels a course, we will offer a full refund for fees paid (excluding the non refundable deposit) or give you the option to transfer to a future course within 12 months of the original start date.

If you choose to transfer, the new course will be subject to the same booking, cancellation, and refund policies as the original course.

4. Course Fees

• Fee Review: Course fees are subject to annual review and may change at the start of each academic year. If your course fee changes after you have booked, you will not be affected by the fee increase.

• Payment Terms: All fees must be paid in full before the course begins. If payment is not received prior to the start date, GTT reserves the right to cancel your booking and offer the place to another student.

6. Liability and Additional Costs

• Consequential Loss: GTT shall not accept any liability for any consequential loss incurred due to course cancellations, delays, or changes.

• Course Changes and Venue/Content Modifications: In exceptional circumstances, we may need to change course dates, content, or online platform. We will do our best to accommodate these changes but will not be liable for any losses resulting from these alterations.

7. Rights and Responsibilities of GTT and Students

• Access to Information: By booking a course with GTT, you are confirming that you have read and understood the course content, pre-requisites, and terms of enrolment. You are also confirming that you have, or will secure access to any materials required for the course.

• Course Completion: All courses must be completed within the stated academic year unless otherwise agreed upon by GTT. Extensions will only be considered under exceptional circumstances.

• Compliance with Code of Conduct: Students are expected to follow GTT’s online conduct and behaviour guidelines. Any misconduct, including harassment or disruptive behaviour, may result in removal from the course without a refund.

8. Privacy and Data Protection

• Personal Information: GTT will use your personal data solely for the purposes of administering your training and course participation. We will not share your information with third parties, except where required by law, or with your employer if they are covering your course fees. All personal data will be processed in accordance with applicable data protection laws.

By enrolling in a course at GTT, you acknowledge that you have read and understood the Booking, Cancellation, and Refund Policy and agree to abide by the terms outlined above.
