Our comprehensive curriculum covers the foundational theories and techniques of CBT, equipping you with practical skills to support clients in overcoming challenges related to anxiety, depression, phobias, and other mental health issues. Through interactive workshops, case studies, and supervised practice, you will gain first hand experience and confidence in delivering CBT interventions.

This diploma is ideal for mental health professionals, counsellors, educators, who has a diploma level 4 or above in counselling and anyone interested in enhancing their therapeutic skills to better support individuals struggling with mental health challenges.

The course fees for 2025/2026 are £1,845.00, plus the CPCAB candidate registration fee £385. Course fees are non-refundable. By booking a place on the course, you are agreeing to these terms.

A non-refundable £500 deposit is required to secure a place, to be paid at time of booking. You can then pay in full at the start of the course or you can spread the cost can make it more manageable. Instalment Payment Plan Options

The total cost of the course is £2,230.00. To make it easier to manage, we offer a flexible, interest-free instalment plan as follows:

• A deposit of £500 is required to secure your place on the course.

• You will then make five monthly payments of £288.33, due on the 1st of each month starting in October.

• The final payment will be £288.35, due in March.

This option allows you to spread the cost over several months without any interest or additional charges, making your learning journey more affordable and accessible.

All candidates are required to provide 30 hours of counselling adults and receive clinical supervision for their counselling practice hours.  

Candidates are expected to work with adults using CBT. Details of the agency should be discussed with the personal tutor as soon as possible after the course has begun. Any supervision costs associated with any placement will be payable by the candidate. 

Guidelines for your supervision hours will be provided, and guidance can be found on the CPCAB website.  

Assessment will be by way of tutor Internal Assessment of your portfolio. (The external assessment requirement has been withdrawn by CPCAB).

• To accept your offer of a place you will need to sign and return your Training Contract together with a £500 non-refundable* deposit.

• We will then seek a reference from your clinical supervisor and arrange an interview with one of the course tutors.

* The deposit is non-refundable unless either i) the course is cancelled or ii) The supervisor reference is not satisfactory/the interview is not successful. In these cases a refund will be issued.
