Our comprehensive curriculum covers the foundational theories and techniques of CBT, equipping you with practical skills to support clients in overcoming challenges related to anxiety, depression, phobias, and other mental health issues. Through interactive workshops, case studies, and supervised practice, you will gain first hand experience and confidence in delivering CBT interventions.
This diploma is ideal for mental health professionals, counsellors, educators, who has a diploma level 4 or above in counselling and anyone interested in enhancing their therapeutic skills to better support individuals struggling with mental health challenges.
Accreditation: Our diploma is pending accreditation by the Counselling & Psychotherapy Central Awarding Body (CPCAB), ensuring high-quality training that meets professional standards.
Flexible Learning: The online format allows you to study at your own pace while still engaging with peers and instructors through virtual discussions and feedback sessions. Monday 09:00-13:30 or 16:00-20:30.

The course fees for 2025/2026 are £1,845.00, plus the CPCAB candidate registration fee £385. Course fees are non-refundable. By booking a place on the course, you are agreeing to these terms.
A non-refundable £500 deposit is required to secure a place, to be paid at time of booking. Full payment is due at the commence of the course.
Global Therapy Training is an independent provider, and we are not part of the government funded advanced learner loan scheme for this reason our learners are self-funded. We do not offer fees instalment plan.
All candidates are required to provide 30 hours of counselling adults and receive clinical supervision for their counselling practice hours.
Candidates are expected to work with adults using CBT. Details of the agency should be discussed with the personal tutor as soon as possible after the course has begun. Any supervision costs associated with any placement will be payable by the candidate.
Guidelines for your supervision hours will be provided, and guidance can be found on the CPCAB website.
Assessment will be by way of tutor Internal Assessment of your portfolio. (The external assessment requirement has been withdrawn by CPCAB).

If you meet the initial entry requirements we will offer you a conditional place on the course and send you a Training Contract.
To accept your offer of a place you will need to sign and return your Training Contract together with a £500 non-refundable* deposit.
We will then seek a reference from your clinical supervisor and arrange an interview with one of the course tutors.
* The deposit is non-refundable unless either i) the course is cancelled or ii) The supervisor reference is not satisfactory/the interview is not successful. In these cases a refund will be issued.
